Tana Norris
PATH International Riding Instructor

Lake City Christian Academy is proud of our equestrian program.   Kindergarten through 5th grade have an opportunity to experience the BARN LIFE for 45 minutes once a week for a period of five weeks during the academic year.  Grades 6th - 12th may choose the equestrian program as one of their elective. Also, we offer equestrian events for our exceptional education program.  This year will be our first year to have a team compete in the Special Olympics Equestrian Division.

During Equestrian Class  students learn how to take care of, maintain equipment, and how to ride horses.   Katherine King our barn manager is a professional horse trainer.  Ms. Tana Norris is a PATH International Riding Instructor and oversees students riding with disabilities.

Because of the many extracurricular activities available, our students are taught western riding. During the school year our students may participate in the Columbia County Riding Club activities as well as participate in our end of the year horse show.
